Time for Some Updates!

It's been so challenging these days...work is super busy and the same goes for me at home.

Ethylyn turned FIVE on 20 November!

Ethyl didn't want an elaborated celebration this year, and my initialplan was to celebrate for her in our nest and just Hubby, Mommy, Brayden and myself. However, the sweet Ah Yis made their way to our abode and celebrated for her a day inadvance! Thank you sissies! I really appreciate your thoughts (they came on a thursday, a day before Ethyl's birthday).

On her actual day, we went out to grab meal and also get her her pressies!

Next, I have a long weekend due to work commitment. We still found some fun amidst of work! We went to botanic gardens for the "trim a tree" light up. Well, my organization took part, and I was there to "tidy up" the last bit of our tree.





This is not our tree of course! But we had some fun!

Following those, we had our 3rd annual family gathering on 6 december!



We celebrated my nephew's 2nd birthday at the same time! It was a busy day for all of us, but we loved the gathering so much!
Pressies for her, and a truck for the little boy as Mommy felt guilty for leaving him at home. This year's celebration Daddy was unable to join as he had to go for reservist. Well...we still enjoyed!

We also attended my elder brother-in-law's wedding. Both Ethyl and Declan were invited to be the flower girl and page boy.

Brayden's 1yo Birthday

We celebrated his birthday last Sunday all thanks to Rachele for insisting I celebrate his birthday! We had a great day! And thank you for your help too! ;) Owe you a treat!!!

November Birthday

Has been busy lately, and will continue to be busy probably till our holidays.

Today is supposed to be Hubby's birthday, he is at work, and will not be back home till next morning. I am home alone today as well. Both babies are at Mom's because I had to leave home at 6am and reach ICA by 8am to collect Ethyl's passport (another long story...sigh).

This is a short entry to update on Ethyl's birthday and some pictures. How fast, my gal is 4yo and 2 days now, time I update my ticker!

I have not much pictures to show as it is quite a challenge to manage 1 tot and 1 baby when we were out. Ethyl's actual day of birthday, we brought her to IMM's Swensen's and had dinner with her. I bought her a Disney Princess, Belle, watch and she was so happy! She kept telling me she was very happy on the day itself!

This year's birthday is not ideal, and told her, because of both Hubby's and mine busy schedules, we'll make up to her during the HK trip. She is very contented and assured us that she is perfectly fine and is truly happy with us spending time with her and staying together as a family.

Happy Birthday to Our 4yo Princess!!!

This is remarkable! We have Ethyl with us for 4 beautiful years!

Today marks her 4th year in our lives. She is now no longer a baby (though I still call her baby), but a toddler who is able to make some decisions for herself and voice her opinions.

From being a baby till now, she has been a child who makes me feel proud of her. Her sensibility and understanding at such tender age does exceed my expectations.

Just last week, she said something that made me so touched.

“Mommy, I love you too much! You beat me and scold me sometimes, but I know you mean well Mommy, I won’t be angry and I will still love you so much! You also love me so much right? That is why you scold me right?”

We had a lousy birthday for her last Saturday over at East Coast Park (ECP), she was a little disappointed, but she assured me that she was happy to be able to play sand and water.

I Turn 28!

I am in my late 20s! How fast! Hubby took leave and accompanied us for the day. Ethyl missed her school, something I do not want, but Mom has some programs, thus we had no choice, we had ours too...so we decided to bring her along! Needless to say, she was elated!

We went to Marina Square for some shopping and makan treat. Had Jap food at waraku...yum...

As you can see, missy enjoys her meal heaps. *smiles* Of course, Hubby and I enjoyed ourselves too! Eventhough I have lost some weight, I guess my little guy is eating alot through me! I had really good appetite these days...and he is putting on weight base on the last check up.

I get hungry pretty easily too! *laughs*

After the treat from dear Hubby, we proceeded to shop around...went to see if we could get some baby items for Brayden and maybe some stuff for Ethyl as well. With the CFO around, I can't buy on impulse as he will be asking me if I needed the item again and again!

Hubby kept reproaching himself for not planning a good celebration. He intended to let us take the Duck tours, Hot Air Balloon and Hippo ride, but carrying a ball with me, I'd rather wait till Ethyl's birthday before we do that. He then suggested going to the Singapore Flyer...I rejected the idea again. For I wanted Brayden to take the ride with us, eventhough he may not be old enough to know what's going on.

We had cakes later on at Secret Recipe. I am happy enough to have spent good time with both of them. And reassured Hubby that I am really happy.

We came back at noon (3-ish). Hubby was tired, and he took a nap. Deposited Ethyl at Mom's place for the evening and both of us went out to BPP for dinner. I just wanted to spend some quiet time together with Hubby.

True, it may be a boring day, but to me, it means alot...Hubby is always busy at work, and now, he is able to spend some time with us, I really felt blessed and blissful. No complaints, though Hubby claimed he didn't buy me pressies, he bought me almost 200 bucks worth of birds' nest on the even of my birthday. That is more than enough...
