As we watched the videos that I have taken years back, I saw how much my lil girl has thrived, how she has reached her milestones under my nose; with not too much emphasis on academic focus.
True as I would love to sign on test papers that shows full marks, I also understand the importance to be consistent, confidence and most importantly, my kids must love, enjoy and has passion in things they do no matter at which phase of their lives.
Ethyl came back with Math 20/20, Chinese 36/40, English 30/30.
Chinese Han Yu Pin Yin has always not been her forte. Having said that, her weekly tuition does help in improving. This result to me is her effort and yes, I am never stingy with my praise and encouragement.
Academic wise, it has never been an issue to me. Ethyl is still pretty much motivated and she would voluntarily pick up her books to revise consistently. This is our blessing. She has indeed proven to be a role model for Brayden.
Under influence of Ethyl, Brayden enjoys learning as well.
When he is back home, he would pick up the chalk and starts doodling on the easel stand alphabets, numbers and some shapes. Occasionally, he would pick up books and starts reading them.
Both enjoyed their bonding time reading and role playing as well. Ethyl will be the teacher, Brayden be the student. It's is so much fun watching them grow at a pace we are all comfortable with.
Every moment with them makes me understand life a lil more. I treasure every bit with them both. Such quantity time won't last long, however I'm blessed with understanding and supportive kids and better half. They have always be braving the changes that goes around us.
I really want to shout "I LOVE BEING A MOM!!!"

Making Skinsense
Definitely not an advertorial. As i am approaching 29 this year, I must keep reminding myself that I am no longer young and have not much youth to squander.
For my skin, I am somehow neglected giving it's well-deserved. I take for granted that I have good skin condition and has a complexion that glows from within. I cleanse when I feel like it and we can forget about routine for my case. Since last year, I have seen how my skin "degenerated". I started to see signs of aging(!) and yes, I need to hydrate my thirsty dry skin.
I went to my Dermatologist and wanted to try her products. I have seen how her nurses skin glows even without makeup. They rave about it and since the price is not exorbitant as I do get staff discount, I gave it a try. For your info, I was diagnose with Dermatitis, fortunately, it was a very mild case.
The products that I have used are really wonderful! I really feel my skin plumped up and simply adore how my skin felt when i glide through with my fingers.
I also went to customise a clay-cream mask to hydrate and at the same time maintain the PH balance of my skin with compounding pharmacy. I have to wait till next week before i can lay my hands on to try it...since it's customised for myself, I shall share the results after using it. Not sure if I shall try the stem cells concoction...Let me think through first as it is not too cheap.
I am currently "transforming" myself religiously. I am trying to shed the kilos and keeping my beauty routine gingerly. I hope to see a new me by the end of this year! We ought to age gracefully shouldn't we?! *winks*

He Can "NG"
Applauding for my boy...when he needs to poo, he would call out with a "ng ng" sound and Mom would bring the potty to him and he POOP in the potty!
It has been 3 days since he could do it...and he is doing well! He uses only THREE nappies in the day. Accidents happens when he was too tired to wake up to pee.
The jiejie, our darling girl is so proud to announce to us the milestone of our boy!
WELL DONE BRAYDEN! Mommy's so proud of you....!

Today, He Flipped!
Yes, 3 months and 3 days old, Brayden boy flipped without aid!
This morning, he turned to his side, trying to turn over with all his "milk strength"...TADA...he did it!
Not a perfect flip, his hand got sandwiched between his tummy and the bed. Was crying for help and I went to his rescue! Both Ethyl and I cheered for him as he finally managed a flip after trying for almost 3 weeks.
Well done, my Brayden boy!

Learning to Flip
Brayden at beginning of his second month, has begun to sleep to one side and using his legs to kick himself and trying to flip over. Today, with a little aid from me, he managed to flip over successfully!
I left him on his tums for about a minute, at the same time, let him train his neck muscles. He has been able to hold his head up for quite a while! He seems to enjoy himself in this position...when I carried him up, he was panting a little. Haha..it must have exhausted him quite a bit!
Both Brayden and Ethyl are getting along really well...and lil missy has some time with me every saturday when we go to the library. I made it a point for her to read at least 2 books and borrow one back. It seems that I have misplaced her library card...hmm...better do a detail search and dig out her card soon.
