Morning Blessings

Busy Sunday
Woke up at about 9.35am when missy asked for mornign dose of milk. Made her milk, she drifted off to dreamland again. I was still tired, laid on the bed, trying to take a wink, but I simply can't. Kept tossing, thus I laid down, and started to think of Hubby.
Poor him has been working the whole of this week (plus overtime). I really hope we could spend more time together before I deliver; he said he'll try, I know there were times things were not up to him.
Anyways, missy is still sleeping soundly, I woke up and get the laundry and some chores done. She must have been really tired...she woke up at 11-ish while I just made myself bread for breakie. She requested fro some as well...and so, I made some for her.
She waited for me to finish my chores before I bathe her. GOSH...the weather is really humid! I simply can't stand it! Imagine myself doing confinement during this period!!! Thank goodness there's the invention of aircon.
Well, after bathing, Brought Ethyl with me to plaza. Her fringe needs some trimming, brought her to my hair stylist, had her fringe trimmed, returned the library books, sat there and read for a while. I did not let her borrow any books this time, as I anticipated that I may not have the time to bring her out for the next few weekends. Thank goodness she did not fuss.
We went grocery shopping after that. Planning to cook dinner as it has been a while since I last stepped into the kitchen to cook. Am craving for pasta, thus bought some ingredients meant for my craving...
Back home, I have the urge to bake...I should have taken a rest, but I opted to bake for Hubby instead. It has been a while I baked for him as well.
Quickly went through my recipes, picked up Peanut Butter Cookies and started to bring out all needed ingredients and get my hands on to bake!
This time, I coated the cookies with ganache. Hubby loves this cookie! He says it tasted just nice for him and he kept eating when he's bake at 6-ish and before dinner was served.
After the bake, I carried on to cook dinner. We both loved the pasta, Ethyl had her alphabets pasta cooked in soup. She later regretted not sharing the pasta with us! Haha...
She said the pasta was nice and she loves it! Too bad, she already had her dinner then!
It was really tiring to be in the kitchen for more than 3 hours preparing the cookies and dinner. Nothing beats seeing how my darlings enjoyed my home cooked dinner and of course, my homebaked cookie!
Now, my back still aches eventhough Hubby gave me a good back rub before he turned in...I know for sure all the works are appreciated.

Will He Look Like That?
Though we had a very nice picture and it turned out that she looks neither of our imagination, she is still a perfect darling in our eyes.
Now, I dreamt of Brayden last night. He is a fair baby, rosy like Ethyl. His crown of glory was black and glossy, thick and neat. His eyes were bright with double lids. Nose...hmm...I can't remember. But his hair and eyes captivated me.
Will he look like that? I was woken and told Hubby excitedly about my dream. Well, he has been asking me if Brayden will look like him...I am clueless, but for sure, the little guy in my dream look not even a little like him! Haha!
He doesn't look like Ethyl nor me either. He is just him...a look of himself, and he is a happy baby in my dream. Always smiling and brings joy around. Another 4 weeks for me...Now, I am really eager to see how he looks like!

Nasi Lemak
Didn't tell Hubby, but I guess little guy is getting too good an appetite lately...but I can't really eat as he has been growing well, and makes me feels uncomfy when sitting down.

Buying for Brayden
I was not forgotten, she bought red dates, black dates, wolfberry, black fungus and many others that I do not know what they were. Those were meant for me to consume during confinement. Oh my...Mom is starting to prepare for so many things, whereas I am sitting at home, thinking of my lunch appointment with my friends next week, and of course, my appointment with my gynae (which is also coming next week).
My hospital was not packed. Hubby has been nagging at me to start my packing. Am just too lazy and felt that it was too early. I have not gotten enough PJs to tide me through, I have not gotten my maternity disposable undies, I have yet to go through my list and see what needs to be packed in the bag.
I have gotten 10 boxes of breast pads during the Taka baby fair. Got whatever that needs to be bought for Brayden. Now, Brayden should have enough clothes for the time being. I shall shop for more on my lunch trip next week with my friends. Wondering if GAP has got any nice stocks that came in for boys, and also girls. How can I not buy for Ethyl?!
Having a NB will make us real busy...but I believe we will love having another little being around.
Girls Are Girls
My little girl is vain, just like me! haha...
Saw her sitting quietly at the hall and thought she was so serious practising her writing, then she came to me, and goodness (!) she painted her nail with the marker!
I was not a even angry and started laughing at her...she is just like me when I was young! Girls are girls...she even said to me, "Mommy, I paint my nails like you...you ask other people to paint (manicure), I do it myself!". And she was beaming joyfully looking at her painted nail. I have company for manicure in the near future!

Seahorse, Cheeky "Fish" and Sensibility
This is a...SEAHORSE! Ethyl drew this last week. I thought it looks pretty close to seahorse too! It was actually my third guess that I got it correct. I thought it was a dino...Ethyl laughed and said, "No! Not a dinosaur.". Yes, seahorse does come to my mind.
See this cheeky babe...she is pretending to be a fish...I really love her so much, and she is sooo adorable!
I have been trying to explain to Ethyl that I will be going for csec to bring Brayden out. She is so concerned. Kept asking if the doc will give me injections, will I be put on drip etc...
Told her I will if I were to go for ops, her eyes went red and moist, saying she do not want doc to inject me, don't want them to put drip on me and almost teared. Aww...so sweet of her. I was really touched.
I will miss her much during my days in hospital for sure...

Airport Visit & Yah Kun Breakie
We got ourselves ready for the Pasir Ris tour. After that, Hubby wanted to bring Ethyl to see aircrafts (aeroplanes), and I thought he'd bring us all to the new T3 for some sightseeing.
Instead, he took us to changi beach to see the planes taking off and touching down...killjoy! After some "complaints" from the pregger, he drove off and vroom...off the the airport we went!
We passed by Hubby's work place as well...so far away...poor him. Even with a car, it is still very far for him to travel here and there daily. It'd be a really good thing if we were to shift to the east.
Ethyl tried to drink from the water cooler at T2. I was slow in taking the picture, it looks as though she is going to wash her face with it.
And we took the sky train to T3. It was spacious and of course, it's new.
Ethyl's playing the tourist.
I had a good time shopping there too! Window shopping to be specific. Wanted to buy Clarins products because the price there is lower than those in the city, and with Hubbys pass, I have additional 20% discount, but they do not have a full range of the products that I wanted...next time maybe!
Sunday, a day I met my sisters at Tiong Bahru Plaza's Yah Kun for breakie! Been craving for kaya toast...
Two nice pictures taken for the day during breakfast...

Pasir Ris
Ethyl loved the 2 places we put ticks in our notebook, and she was excited about the whole thing. Well, All I can say is that there are pros and cons to both places, Hubby decided to put Tampines in his list again.
I have also listed an area where there are amenities, a good neighbourhood primary school, and of course...the place is near downtown east. How can I miss out the fun for the kids and myself?! Haha...
Hubby's going to find out more about the new area that we are going to "venture" into...I'll wait for his updates. Now, I wish Brayden can come out faster so that we can start our hunting actions!

40 Months Old
Our 39th month with her is not an easy one. Her stay at the hospital, though a tough one, it has pulled us closer. Hubby, Ethyl and myself stood by one another during the trying period and bite our teeth through the 4 days. GOSH...our emo-ride ride during then were not what words can express.
Seeing how ccoperative my brave girl was when the doctors checked on her. Being a kid, she thought by being cooperative, the doctors will not inject her, will never give her suppositories and force meds down her throat. It aches our heart when she wailed and rejected the treatments then.
It is a trauma, not just to her, but also to us. All of us did not get quality rest. I cooped myself in the hospital just to make sure my little girl is alright. Mom tried to coax me back home and rest, but I didn't budge. I just couldn't leave her there with anyone else besides myself.
We spent around 3 weeks from the day she was discharged to bring her back to her normal self. She is so afraid and whenever people touched her when she was asleep. Very scared when people grip her too tightly. Poor thing...
She can still remember the things that she went through, and told me just 2 days ago, "Mommy, I stay in hospital so poor thing right?". Oh...

Going Bananas
Now, I should be fair to Hubby since he has been nice...and to persuade him that I need a big and nice oven PLUS a mordernly sleek looking kitchen that is functional, I shall make his stomach happy.
His fave...Banana Cake! I got this recipe from Aunty Yochana, this is simple and easy to make. Somehow my product is very soft, and I can't slice my cake propery thus no pictures on the final product. But it tastes good for a pregger. I took 2 slices just a while ago!
A New Home @ An Old Place
Give me a little time to do up this place nicely....be patient :)
